If
you suffer from Acne then I imagine that your top priority is
to get rid of the condition as fast as possible. And there is
an entire cosmetics industry out there ready to sell you the
dream solution to your problem. Do you not think that if there
was an acne cream product that could guarantee would make you
acne free within x number of days... we would all know about it
by now? Sure we would.
Getting rid of Acne or reducing the severity of the problem
means getting to the root of the problem first. There is a
reason that most people who experience acne at a certain point
in their life and therefore there is most often a cause and
effect situation. Sometimes the cause is preventable and
sometimes it isn't. Therefore, you need to approach acne care
with an open mind to understand which is the most likely cause
for your particular acne problem. Only then can you implement
an effective acne care routine.
Face Cleanliness
Maintaining a clean face is fundamental to acne care. But
how often should you clean your face? Well, that depends on
your lifestyle. If you're a coal miner then I would suggest
that you clean it regularly throughout the day but if you work
in a sterile environment then obviously your need to cleanse
your face it much less. But irrespective of where you hang out,
one thing that you need to take on board is the fact that
because you suffer from acne, you will need to cleanse your
face more than someone who doesn't have acne. So, for good acne
care you need to consider cleansing your face up to 4 or 5
times a day.
An Effective Cleanser
Have you ever heard of toothpaste as an effective acne care
solution? Apparently it can be very effective and can be
instantaneous and long lasting. Don't worry, you don't need to
smear the tooth paste all over your face. Just apply it to the
affected area and allow it to dry for approx. 15 to 20 minutes
and then wash it off with warm water. This is probably best
done before you go to bed because you may experience a slight
burning sensation but that should soon vanish. In most cases,
pronounced results can be seen the very next morning. The white
tooth paste should be used and not the gel type. Just remember
that when trying something new, always test it on a very small
area first.
Does Metabolism Play A Part?
In most cases, the root cause of acne is the accumulation of
toxic waste inside the body. This can be due to a number of
factors but the most common causes come down to poor personal
hygiene and a bad diet. We all know by now what constitutes a
good diet and more importantly what constitutes a bad diet. You
cannot implement an effective acne care routine if you consume
a bad diet. A bad diet can prevent the normal cleansing
function of the body and allow accumulation of toxic waste.
Since this cannot remain inside the body for longer periods of
time, it finds a vent in the form of acne. There, you have been

What About Cosmetics?
Not all cosmetics are suitable for every single skin type on
the planet and therefore there is always the risk of a skin
condition arising from an unsuitable skin product. If you
suspect this to be the case then the best form of acne care in
this instance is to simply stop using it for a while and see
what happens.
Women Specific Acne
Women may suffer from acne for women-specific reason.
Hormonal changes that occur during the menstrual cycle can give
rise to an acne condition. Some women suffer from acne during
pregnancy, again due to hormonal changes. Do you think that a
cream based product is going to deal with these conditions? No,
of course not, you need to go deeper than that.

that's when you may need to start looking for an alternative
solution...
